Synergy is Western Australia’s biggest energy retailer with approximately 887,000 industrial, commercial and residential customers, generating total revenue in excess of $1.5 billion annually.
The Issue
Synergy is a progressive organisation that values the importance of clear and consistent channels of communication with all of its key stakeholders, with a strong emphasis placed on employee communication. In communicating with employees Synergy evaluates all opportunities for impact, effectiveness and frequency in both print and digital formats. Messages range from regular organisational news in monthly newsletters through to major organisational change management strategic initiatives.
The Solution
We are regularly briefed by Synergy to provide design solutions for a range of key publications including the organisation’s annual report, the bi-monthly internal newsletter as well as many other peripheral documents. As well as publications, we are regularly commissioned by Synergy to create critical ‘change management’ conceptual displays and supporting materials. This involves us creating static and interactive displays that communicate management process through visual analogies that act as tools to allow management to explain and demonstrate key strategic initiatives to all staff throughout all levels of the organisation.
