We recognise that Equilibrium’s ongoing prosperity and the health and well being of our staff is inextricably linked to that of both the communities in which we operate as well as that of our environment. We also realise that meaningful changes in the behaviour of Society only ever occur when passionate and dedicated individuals begin by doing things differently themselves.

Environment

Carbon Neutral
Equilibrium is committed to attaining carbon neutral status. We are in the process of assessing our carbon emissions at organisational and individual level and adopting practical strategies to minimise and offset these.

Recycling
We use recycled and environmentally friendly materials and consumables wherever practical within our operation. We also actively recycle appropriate materials -paper, plastic containers, detergents, toner cartridges and other consumables.

Staff activity program
We grant our staff an extra day of leave every year to participate in their chosen environmental or community project. We encourage staff to collaborate in these activities and donate towards their initiatives.

Community

Not-for-profit
We acknowledge the difficulty that small and less well recognized charitable bodies and organisations experience in attracting sufficient funding to advance their cause. We currently partner and offer support in kind to the ME/CFS Society WA in the production of their member newsletter, website and other communications.

Design awards
We are in the final phase of instigating web design and creative awards with two WA educational organisations for students in their final year of tertiary education.
